Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. They're used to remember preferences, keep you signed in, measure how the site is used, and (with your consent) help us understand which marketing channels actually bring customers to Fuse.

This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, pixels, beacons) that fusemobile.co.uk uses.

We use cookies under Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 ("PECR") and Article 6 of the UK GDPR. Strictly-necessary cookies don't need consent; everything else only runs if you opt in via our consent banner.

2. How you control cookies

When you first visit fusemobile.co.uk you'll see a consent banner powered by CookieChimp (widget ID w3KtDpB). You can:

  • Accept all — turn every category on
  • Reject all — keep only the strictly-necessary cookies
  • Customise — choose which categories to allow

You can change your choices at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the website footer, or via your browser's cookie settings.

Most browsers also let you block all cookies entirely — but doing so may break parts of the website (notably the sign-up + account dashboard, which need strictly-necessary cookies to work).

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies (always on)

These are required to make the website work. They don't need your consent because PECR exempts cookies that are "strictly necessary for the provision of a service the user has requested".

Cookie / vendor Purpose Duration
fuse-session Keeps you signed in to your Fuse account Session
__cf_bm (Cloudflare) Bot management on the API endpoint 30 min
Adyen payment-form cookies Process card details securely during checkout Session
cookieconsent_status (CookieChimp) Remembers your cookie consent choice 1 year

3.2 Performance cookies (opt-in)

These tell us which pages are popular and where users get stuck — so we know which pages need improvement. They don't identify you personally.

Cookie / vendor Purpose Duration
_ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics 4, property G-GJZ7KLQ3H5) Anonymised page views, sessions, traffic source 13 months

GA4 is configured with IP anonymisation on (we never receive your full IP) and Google Signals off (no cross-device tracking).

3.3 Functional cookies (opt-in)

These remember preferences that make the site nicer to use — e.g., your preferred plan view, whether you've seen a tooltip.

Cookie Purpose Duration
fuse-prefs Stores UI preferences (theme, dismissed notices) 6 months

3.4 Targeting / advertising cookies

Fuse does not currently set targeting or advertising cookies. If that changes in future, we'll update this page and re-prompt you for consent before any new vendor goes live.

4. Third-party cookies

Where a vendor (e.g. Google Analytics) sets cookies on our behalf, they may transfer some data outside the UK. We rely on UK adequacy decisions and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable — see our Privacy Policy, section 7, for full international-transfer detail.

The third parties named in this policy operate under their own privacy policies:

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we add or remove vendors. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes (adding a new vendor category or sharing more data) will re-prompt the cookie banner so you can review your choices.
